Run as fast as you can from this company.

I worked For this sorry excuse for a company for 13 days and they were the longest of my life. The workplace is degrading and humiliating and they rip their employees and clients off without hesitation. I saw the writing on the wall and ran out of there after I was paid. The only reason I stayed the 13 days was I was sure if left before then they wouldn't pay me what they owed me. The sales management team of Avery and Millani are the sorriest excuse for sales managers in the business. Their HR strategy is intimidation and humiliation. the mission statement of this place should be call and rip as many people off as humanly possible. Everyone is miserable and you feel like committing suicide in the morning before you have to go to work in this place. Thank god we live in a free country so you can tell people like this to *** themselves.

Faulty Service Provider

I bought a PIN pad by Federated Canada last week. The device has contactless reading facility, but it doesn’t work. I don’t understand why the company sells faulty devices to people. Wireless terminal by Federated Canada is a complete waste of time. I bought this device last week. It often fails to receive signal. Don’t buy this useless equipment. Anyone please suggest me a better service. Last week I bought a credit card reading device from Federated Canada. After two days the keys stopped working properly. Customers had to press the keys hard for providing password. This is really annoying for the customers and me.

Federated Canada violates the rules and business policy

I worked as a telemarketing executive in Federated Canada for nearly a month. The only reason why I stayed on for a month was because I needed the money and was biding time till I could get another job. They violate laws and regulations openly! Federated Canada though a fairly large organization unfortunately has earned a bad name for itself; it’s not just the employees who speak ill of the company but the web space is inundated with negative feedback. Someone did recommend Federated Canada to me but I could garner the confidence to approach them. we suffered financial losses not to mention the mental harassment.

Federated Canada ditched me and failed to pay the money they owed.

I request my business associates to read the following before entering into any transaction with Federated Canada: • They promised to pay all the cancellation fees of my previous credit processing company which never happened. • Never disclose their monthly fees for any lease related issues. • They choose not to inform you about any extra taxes they intend to charge. You’ll be very surprised when you receive your bills. Be careful! • They are not interested in paper work and have a record of doing a shoddy job when it comes to signing an agreement. They treat us like dirt and there is hardly any room for development or growth.

Beware of this company

You must consider, twice and thrice, before signing the Federated Canada for your business. The terms and conditions of the company are not transparent. Termination process is complex and time consuming. A code-10 authorization can be used by the merchant providers if they suspect fraud and suspicious activity in online processing and pass it on to respective card issuing bank for verification, but this merchant provider not do that instead they involves in the security breach. The efficiency of credit cards of this company is questionable. The customer generally complains about the online payment errors they are facing and have to go through number of trials using their cards. This effect on customer valuation.

I have been associated with Federated Canada for a while now. Am not just dissatisfied with the manner in which they've treated my requests for help; am frustrated to a point where I have decided to avail the services of another service provider. What’s the point in working with a vendor who not only does not empathize with your problems but absolutely refuses to register a ‘call’ in the first place? The customer support executives are impolite and half-baked, they aren't even aware of the technicalities of the POS terminals their organization provides. Let alone assist with remote support, they cannot even camouflage their ignorance with ‘sweet talk’.

Drastic services ever recorded

An employee working with our firm lent his credit card to a relative to buy some electronic goods. Within 12 hours of the transaction an exec from Federated Canada called our accounts department that the purchase amount was larger than normal and that we should reverse the transaction. Our accountant told them that an employee’s relative had used the card, they promptly informed us that employees’ relatives were not supposed to use these cards. We made the necessary refund to Federated and closed the issue. Well that was just the beginning! We are still fighting Federated while they continue to charge us!

MSI aka Merchant Services Inc aka Federated Payments et all

I'd be careful before getting into to anything with this company. I worked for them for 6 months and only got paid for the first 2. I actually work for their biggest competitor now, direct for the bank and through my employer, I found out some disturbing things, namely: 1. MSI, Merchant Services Inc all don't exist as companies anywhere in Canada. My employer has me working with their legal department to investigate this matter and void each of the contracts I signed and sign up with Moneris. This will be executed Nation Wide. MSI et al changed the contract terms for each and every one of my customers, numbering over 25 for a breach of contract in the millions of dollars. 2. MSI or Federated Payments is what they are calling themselves, failed to pay me and we are in adjudication with the Province of BC to get my owing commissions of over $11,000. They tried to dupe me and the province by trying to state that they signed a contract with my company, but issued me a T4A (Employee Statement of Self Employed Earnings). Oops! By BC Law, all self employed contractors are entitled to at least minimum wage if commissions are not sufficient to cover minimum wage levels. Plus, employers are required to pay vacation pay, termination pay and for stat holidays. The Strangest thing is that I signed my contract with MSI or Merchant Services Inc but my T4A came from Federated Payments. I don't think these guys really know what they are doing, just expoited our country and our people. 3. Failure to register a legal company within each province is illegal and having contracts signed with a false name is illegal as well. I actually spoke to the Vancouver Police fraud detective who is compiling evidence from me and Afftidavits from each of my customers to substantial criminal charges with the Crown Prosecutor. The owner won't be able to hide in the States if there is a criminal charge laid. 4. I will be filing a Wrongful dismissal, fraud, breach of contract statement of claim in Supreme Court here in BC and already filed in Ontario. In BC, I retained a lawyer who seems to think I have a solid case and is working on contingency for me. 5. I have complied a list of ALL employees in Canada of MSI which I have forwarded to the competition bureau and Employment Standards for further investigation. I am confident that presenting my evidence including signed contracts, Schedules, afftidavits from customers I will win my case both with Employment Standards and in Supreme Court of BC. 6. I've gone to so many sources including the CRA to investigate tax fraud, the competition bureau, industry canada, the Police, and most importantly the courts which should leave a public record of events which can be used as press releases in the future for all aliases in Canada and the US. I am also in the process of trying to get a fraud alert issued for employees, customers and businesses who can be affected by this company. As you know, in this technology age, it is easy to go after a company from a multitude of angles. I will stop when they pay me what they owe me, plus damages and wrongful dismisall and contract breaches for my customers and myself. Ironically, I was on pace to make over $150K with them but now I will make even more working for a reputable company and directly for the bank. Unfortunately, they found the wrong person to screw in me. I will fight this to the end and won't stop until justice is served. The longer this takes, the more damage inflicted to their reputation. Yes, I think all of my interviews are completed and my lawyer has a few thousand pages to sift through, thank goodness he is working on contingency and he will work with each of the parties involved to formulate a proper legal strategy in BC going forward. I'll keep the blog posted when I have time. I'm swamped working and signing deals (I actually average about 7 - 10 deals a week) so I have to do the litigation work in between. But, mark my words, I will NEVER stop until Justice is served. msicanada.wordpress.com legalactionvsmsi.wordpress.com

Good for you. This company is an abomination.

I only worked for them for 2 weeks before I realized they were fraudulent, so I quit before they owed me anything. I hope you put them out of business.

I worked for the in The New York office and in the states business gets away with murder. I only hope the they get what they have coming in Canada.

Signed an application and learned the next day some 280 dollars in charges were debited from my account. Mistake?

Fraud? Don't know yet. But, I did not sign an agreement yet.

Sales Rep said we were approved, but Head Office says only that we have a pending application. Not sure yet if we should deal with Federated Payments.

i am a merchant that got scammed by a Federated Payments rep. I am out of business now but i am still having to pay Northern Leasing a remainder of this supposed lease.

total of $4000 +. I am 100% sure i didnt sign a lease with Northern Leasing for a Veriphone machine but it seems like NL and Federated Payments have a contract that was filled out by someone with my signature on it .....

can you tell me how they do this ?

do they train staff how to do this ?

Any new updates of complaints regarding this company. I applied for a outside position and was surprised that I was offer the job right away, with no request for references, did not care if I had no experience and received an 18 page to sign off being a contractor which I did not sign for.

I am concerned about fraud, and what reviews I am reading on this post.

Should I apply or not for this company. Need help making a decision.

Considering Principle Payments, also a company affilliated with this company. Please fill me in as I want to know if this is just industry practice or could I become part of a scam?
